We are looking for student reporters. No experience is required as training will be provided. Journalism or media studies is desirable but the passion for news is the only pre-requisite.

Where is the location?

It is located at 'your campus'. We need reporters from all corners of the world as we are a community for international students. You will be working at your own place and in your own convenience.

News gathering and production teams will work across multi-time zones around the world.

What are the required skills and experience?

No specific skills or experience is required. However, ability to write or speak simple English is required. We welcome students from all faculty. Media or journalism related studies is desirable but the passion for the news is the only ingredient required.

What kind of equipments do I need?

Access to a computer and internet is all that you need to be a reporter. Even if you want to 'file' a news story with a picture or video, most of the mobile phones are capable of taking photos and videos.

What kind of news to be reported?

Anything 'interesting' that is happening at your college/university. Remember, you already have your personal space at the 'blog' section. This is about news worthy stuff i.e, news that are of interesting or beneficial to fellow students/members.

The list below outlines some of the 'potential' news worthy stuff:

• projects launched by students
• student organisations/movements
• fraud/malpractice at your campus
• interview with outstanding students or scholarship winners
• lifestyle - trends in students fashion, and entertainment
• issues affecting students such as loans, accommodation, and so on.

What will I gain?

We have 'professional' journalists who are willing to do the editing stories as well as coaching and training up-and-coming reporters. As a student reporter, you will gain hands-on reporting experience and build up your reputation even before you finish your studies.

Is it a paid job?

No, not at the moment. We are at the start-up stage. We all have to work hard to transform the site into a success story. There will be partnership positions available to early joiners once the site is commercially viable. Opportunities are as high as the sky.
