obama_china_ladyinred Chinese student Wang Zifei has become an internet sensation after attending a speech by U.S. President Barack Obama. All she did was removing her 'red coat' while listening to the speech.

wangzifei_shanghaistudentWang Zifei was wearing black dress that was covered under a red coat, sitting behind Obama during his townhall forum last week in Shanghai. She is labelled as China's version of the 'Obama Girl,' Photos of her taking off her coat in slow motion have been uploaded and spread widely.

Respect my privacy

Wang urged online users not to disturb her personal life. 'I don't want to be popular in this way,' she said on her blog. 'I even told my friends not tell anyone else my personal information. However, it turns out that my silence brings more suspicion.' Wang, a student at Shanghai Jiaotong University, said she is studying business management.

She has performed violin, acted in plays, and even hosted shows but she said she has no interest in entertainment as a career.
