He is 'legally' blind and yet he becomes a star skier for Olympics games. How can he ski with poor vision?

Blind since teenage years

Brian McKeever from Alberta, Canada, can only see about 10% of a normal person's vision. He is about to achieve his dream and will get a place in the record books when he represents his country at Vancouver Olympics.

Olympics dream

Mr McKeever will become the first athlete to compete in both a Winter Olympics and a Paralympics and he has already inspired his Canadian team mates, who regard him as an able-bodied skier blessed with extraordinary talent.

"He accepts nothing but his very best. Nothing holds him back. He is a real inspiration to all of us."
